James really saved the day. We were supposed to go on a barge boat for a friends 40th and we’re let down. James the manager allowed us to use their room at short notice and saved the day for my friends birthday and even provided us with disco lights. We can’t thank you enough.
I booked Barca Bar for my boyfriend's 30th birthday party on the 9th November, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how everything turned out! From the moment I contacted them, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They worked with me to customise the experience, ensuring the space was perfect for our group. Everyone was really helpful on the night and made sure we had everything sorted. The two girls on the bar (sorry forgot the names) were amazing! Really friendly and extremely helpful. Overall, Barca Bar was the perfect venue for such a special occasion, and my boyfriend’s 30th birthday was a huge success. I’d highly recommend this place for any celebration — it’s a really good venue and has lovely staff members.

Having been made unwelcome at Dukes 92, my friend and I found Barca and sat in the lovely swing overlooking the canal drinking fabulous Aperol Spritz. Very friendly woman in the outdoor bar chatted to me about other good cocktail places to go to. Tapas menu looked great, DJ was very very cool, and indoors looked like it was getting a total revamp - I look forward to coming again.
I lost my phone, and one of the costumers stole it. The bar manager helped me get it back. He retrived it and took care of the problem perfectly.
Surprising well organised and efficient service on a bank holiday weekend. Other places had mile long queues, the staff were friendly and everything we ordered came quickly. 5 star food and drinks, we will definitely be back!
Booked the Snug for my 30th Birthday party. Lauren, the event manager, was amazing from start to finish. I had asked for a vegetarian/vegan buffet for the event, and the team went above and beyond, two weeks later I still have people talking to me about the falafel wraps and bean burgers! The space was set up for us and it was so beautiful, the balloon arch was put together for us and the tables were set up. I don’t have many photos because we had such a fantastic time it was the lad thing on my mind! I’d happily book Barca again in future for any events I had on, it was a great space, a fantastic team, and an amazing location!
Attended my best friends engagement party and I couldn’t be any more impressed by the team that made the evening. From the food, to the service, it really made the evening extra special. HUGE shoutout to MJ who made us feel super welcome and accommodated to all of our very demanding needs. Would definitely return.
